It’s 2019. Now that the holiday festivities are nestled in our memories and the confetti has been swept away, we can concentrate on the new year ahead of us. On the first day of a new year, we resolve to make positive changes in our lives. Today’s decisions will legislate our future.
Whatever lies ahead, let’s resolve to put our best foot forward to follow through on what we know is right for us and our businesses. Perhaps that means finally making a difficult decision, or beginning that aggressive ad campaign. If you’re fortunate enough to have a successful business, you may decide it’s time to give back.

Starting is simple but maintaining our resolutions over the course of the year ahead can be challenging. Understandably, viewing our task ahead as a whole is intimidating. The climb looks daunting when looking at the mountain from a distance. If you had to tackle the entire mountain at once, you might not even attempt it. It’s easier to move closer to the mountain where you can see things clearer and make your way up one decision at a time.
Today is the day.
We’ve identified what you need to do, but avoid looking at your all your tasks at once. Instead, we can opt to take a closer position and take 2018 one day at a time, making one good decision after another. Setbacks may cause us to reposition or shift our timeline, but that doesn’t mean we have to lose sight of the goal.
