Lords of the Ring

Congratulations to CompuData, Inc. on their great testimonial video featuring Specialty Ring Products.  Did you ever wonder who makes those huge seamless steel rings for jet turbines, helicopter gearboxes, paper mills, and windmills?  Me either, but I bet a lot of specialty mechanics do!  Specialty Ring Products (SRP) is the premier source for forged seamless rolled rings and shapes used in the most demanding aerospace, defense, and industrial applications.

SRP needed a better ERP system.  CompuData, Inc. provided them with a great software solution with Epicor ERP.  This helped SRP increase their margins which, in turn, allowed them to be much more competitive in the industry.   The process was fascinating to watch and a pleasure to produce for CompuData, Inc.

Dino’s Backstage Brings Back the Glamour

“Striding gracefully across plush zebra-striped carpeting, tuxedo-clad waiters balance serving trays filled with champagne, martini glasses and snifters. On a nearby stage, the suave bandleader snaps his fingers as his trio launches into “Fly Me to the Moon.” This isn’t a flashback to the Copacabana or the Latin Casino—it’s here and now at Dino’s Backstage, the stunningly glamorous restaurant, bar… Read more →
